This picture was taken from the southwest corner of the intersection of Calle de la Luna and Calle de San Jose in Old San Juan (facing north on San Jose).

Jack Delano not only was a wonderful photographer but a very gifted musician who arrived in Puerto Rico as a Federal Government employee, felt in love with the country, its folklore and its people and never left. His contribution to Puerto Rican culture in terms of arts and music is incalculable.
