woah. was the bird really that still? or did you merge exposures? either way, man, this is fantastic . . see now here's an artistic attent that appears obvious to me (per our prior discussion) - the contrast of a sharp, appearingly fast capture of a subject with the long time exposure and sweeping sky.

before seeing the title and only viewing the thumbnail I thought this doesn't look right - the blurring above and below the horizon should not look like this. I found it intriguing and it pulled me in. once viewed however, it all makes sense and you have captured a wonderful image.....no not a horizon....a wire.....aaah now I see. that is one very content bird to sit still for so long - great shot and it sucked me in - lovely captivating shot.
