WEEK ONE for 52 weeks about U - 2008

My first image for the "52 weeks about U" pool.

This is my "workspace", yes, I know there are TWO computers there........... the one on the left is my PC, it is my 'security blanket' and it has to stay there while I am on this very steep learning curve of getting to know the new MacMonster aka: IMAC!

Have had the IMAC for 4 days and just starting to find my way around it.

On my workspace area you will see:

on the wall:
a drawing from my nephew.
to the left:
the latest Patricia Cornwell book that I have just finished today.
The Alaska for Dummies - my dream holiday, that may eventuate.
my water bottle - water needed to keep the spirits up.
the glass where the spirits usually are!
the photo frame is of my nephew.
my PC monitor with an image of the street in the Macedon Ranges (Victoria) where we have a holiday house.
In front:
my keyboards and my cell phone...... thats in case anyone phones me and I am too lazy to move from my desk to answer the landline!
the new beaut 24 inch IMAC LCD screen. Image on screen is the view I have from the front of our holiday house (and yes, I have PS open)
behind the monitor is the new Adobe Creative Suite box with INSTRUCTIONS so I can learn.. LoL...
Behind the desk:
The hard drive and CD rack sitting on the window ledge.
Blinds are down to keep out the heat and sun....and the glare as we are 18 floors up!

.......and sometimes on the desk on the right, (yes, ON the desk) my little Tenterfield Terrier (Oscar) sits quietly on a blanket as he is now as I type this!

and now about "52 Weeks About U - 2008"

52 Weeks About U is a place where you can post photos about you,

A place where you only have to post 1 photo per week to be able to complete 52 weeks of photos,

This group is about posting photos "about "you it doesn't have to be a self portrait but no objections if that's your style of photography as we are a friendly group of people from all over the world with many different styles and interests.

They have weekly discussions and posting for all 52 weeks.

It is not a mandatory comment group but they do ask you to tag your Photos with what weekly discussion you post into.

This is a group aimed at getting to know each other a little better and hopefully make some new friends,

So why not join in the fun???

Nice beginning to 52. ... I've two computers on my desk also, but I don't have the IMAC excuse. Just a split personality ... and the fact I've been too lazy to shift files from the home computer to the laptop.

Very nice workspace and it's nice to learn a little about you in this first week. I am envious of your space (and nice new iMac) because I have a tiny little desk that folds up because I live in a small apartment in New York. However, my Dad gave me his old iMac when he got himself a laptop so at least my desk is filled with something good. Can't wait to see what else you have for us in the weeks to follow. Hope to see some more of your cute doggies.
