Jamie, age ~4
When Jamie was about 3 or 4 years old, he tried to keep up with David,
who was 2 years older. Mary Lou noticed he was getting discouraged, and
enrolled him in a co-operative nursery school. He quickly found that he
could keep up with the other children, and his confidence returned. This
photo was taken there.

My Aunt Bessie
FannieWarWork
When my father became ill in 1943, my mother registered for a shop course at Tech High, a few blocks from our house. On February 10, she started work at Glenn L. Martin, soldering junction boxes on B-26's, and later B-29's. She worked two and a half years, 7 days on and 1 day off, so that days off rotated.

Len in a goat cart, age 1
An itinerant photographer with a different gimmick. That's the closest
