we tried to impress each other: I from Germany, Europe was wearing the SWAD-E tshirt to impress inkel, Inkel from Buenos Aires, Argentina, tried to impress me by wearing his SWAD-E tshirt. We both were happy and surprised that we wore the same tshirt for a semantic web beer&coffee meeting.

I do like this pic :) Reminds me we did some pretty good things in that project. We went for beer with Kate Sharp last night, who did a fantastic job project managing such a peculiar project. I remember telling the evaluators in our EU assessment meeting that we decided the best way to get the Semantic Web built (given our budget constraints :) was through giving away t-shirts to smart developers around the world...
About the shirt: the original graphics are online and Attribution-ShareAlike Creative Commons licensed. Only bitmaps at the moment; maybe we could ask Liz for SVG sometime...
It doesn't say on the shirt itself, but the design is based on TimBL's original "Semantic Web" roadmap from back in '94 . We used some words from that talk on the corresponding postcard, which is kinda reconstructed in the page with the graphics .
Here's Tim's original graphic. Liz's design is much nicer I think! But the idea is just the same, except 10 years later, we were able to decorate it with real markup, real namespaces, ... :)
