Storms River Mouth

Storms River Mouth by }Leo{.
One of the most beautiful sights seen during the start of my 3-day Dolphin Trail.

Had to ascend and descend those mountains.

Hope you enjoy viewing as much as I enjoyed walking :-)

Are there Dolphins on the trail? - I know they have tails - were you tailing a dolphin or was it trailing you?

Hi Leo!
Lovely and a bit challenging.

LOL nobody was trailing/trailing anyone. Didn't see any dolphins. Sometimes you see dolphins sometimes you don't. We only had a glimpse of a whale in the 3 days. It was a wonderful experience. At least I can say I did it :-)

My advice for anyone doing it, if you have knee issues, try it, but don't be disappointed if you need to opt out at some point. The ascents and descents are tough :-) for the not so young and the not so fit :-)

The bridge is not a challenge LOL, the ascents and descents are .

Its a 3-day trail and what you see was only a small portion covered on Day 1. This view is within 10minutes of our start. We had to cross that bridge and begin the climb. Will post a pic of the view once we did our first ascent.

John, you will have to take a trip to my beautiful country and do the trail. Will be well worth it. Only 3 days. There is another one there which is called the Otter Trail and that one is 5 days but you carry EVERYTHING in your backpack, e.g. clothes, food etc

The Dolphin Trail, you only take the necessities needed during the walk like a snack, jersey in case of weather changing, raincoat. Clothes were transported between hotels, thank heavens LOL, you know what women are like and packing.. :P
