Locust

We came across some strange looking insects. Thankfully during the whole trail I only saw 1 spider and I suspect it was dead. I definitely was not going back to see if it was or not. I only saw it AFTER I stepped over it, took one glance back, screeched and ran on.

This strange looking hopper looks like he has army gear and seems somewhat mechanical.

I dont fear locusts so I was able to get reasonably close to it with my macro lens, however as much as I tried to convince him to stand still he wouldn't as I would have loved to have captured a front shot of it.

Tsitsikamma National Park

Once we had crossed over the suspension bridge and climbed the first mountain, we looked back at where we had started (that flat piece of ground with no greenery).

There was a terrible haze in the air.

Storms River Mouth

One of the most beautiful sights seen during the start of my 3-day Dolphin Trail.

Had to ascend and descend those mountains.
