A unique location with a horrifying story...
This beautiful manor house once belonged to a very wealthy & prosperous family. It was big enough to accommodate different generations. The oldest documents mention the name of the step grandmother, mademoiselle Wieme. She passed away in the sixties, but her daughter was still living there together with her children and grandchildren, each with their own compartments inside the house.
During the late eighties her son got very ill. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Several treatments and medical surgeries took place, alas with no result.
His fight against cancer was a battle he couldn't win. It was a battle he didn't want to win. His mind became deranged and disordered. Insanity took over. In a burst of total madness he murdered his wife & kids. When all family members were dead he committed suicide.
This tragedy happened inside this manor house. The only person to escape this massacre was mademoiselle Wieme's daughter. As a result she didn't want to live any longer inside this horrid and hideous place. She left the house in 1994. Because this mansion has been kept inside the family for centuries and centuries (it was built in the late 1700's), she didn't want to sell it either. As per today this house is still there, with the walls being silent witnesses, for evermore...
In the following months after the slaughter several X-ray documents were still arriving through the mailbox. They are unopened ever since.
My deepest condolences to the family and friends.
