Working my way through my archives and thought this one had some potential. I took this with my Samyang 14mm prime and corrected the distortion using a combination of PTLens and PS. I've been experimenting with my processing techniques so let me know what you think. The horizon looks crooked but it's just an illusion :)

Going through my archives and I'm finding a decent amount of images that I simply forgot about. I tried some different processing techniques on this and I hope it looks ok. Please let me know what you think. Thanks and have a great weekend!

Updated: The photo lives! I put more time into the processing and have put a cleaner version up based on your suggestions. Thanks for all the comments.

Is this photo worthy? Should I take it off my stream? I really don't know how I feel about this one...
Comment please! The life of this photo is in your hands!

Of all my years of shooting, I've never shot the San Diego skyline. I went down here with another shot in mind during the sunset but it never came together as I would have liked. I was walking back to my car and decided to watch the lights heat up and that's when I saw the huge glow creep up to the right of the convention center, out of good composition. The lunar eclipse was just 12 hours prior and the moon came back with a brilliant vengeance. I immediately book it to the far left, as far as I could go to get a better angle. I pretend to tow the moon, looking back periodically seeing it inch over little by little. Finally I reach a spot that works and take a few shots playing with different speeds. The result is this three shot panorama. Seeing the flight path of the plane makes me happy; it's all about the details. The USS Midway is on the far left, draped in Christmas lights. Comments and critiques are welcome.

Thanks for stopping by,
Max
