      I've been wishing for a sample of the real Nixie tube font. For some reason it never occurred to me to take an actual tube apart ;-)

      Maybe they could be copied somehow onto a mask and be used to etch clean ones.

      Maybe they could be coated with acrylic or something? It would make them more durable as well as protecting from mercury.
