Yup...it's Wendy....my better half!

The Rays look divine...

Whenever I see a sunset like this, I expect to hear a big voice coming from the sky to give me a really important message. I never get them unless the message is to photograph the moment. I never realized it until well after the pic was taken, but this shot exemplifies the way Wendy and I are when we're out exploring - I'm always shooting something and she's always scouring the ground looking for shells, flowers, animals, etc.

This photo is one of many in my new book called Through Len's Lens.

Explored Aug 27, 2008 #2...then #15...then #20...then #1. Who knows where it goes from there!

It is really excellant with those I always call it radiative ray blasting out from clouds. And I love the golden reflection on the " S " shape water better than that " Esterillos Sunset" you took 17 minutes later. Did you ask your wife to pose over there ?

If this is not a HDR, then you must had done some photoshop masking processing for it cannot get that great dynamic range in one take shot !
