Long-billed Dowitchers - adult and juv

Shown here are the adult in basic plumage on the left and the juvenile with rufous-edged feather on back and wings, on the right. The plain appearance of the tertials (above the tail), which lack buffy edges and lack cross bands, confirm that this is the Long-billed Dowitcher. I think the black spot on the adult is a shadow from the head of the juvenile.
