These shots are a bit X-Rated but I thought they were okay to post. They show nature at work and love. LOL! They mated it seems like every 15 minutes or less though I'm sure that no cubs will be produced from these get togethers. It was something to see and to photograph. I have some more pictures of them expressing their love this way so I'll probably post them eventually. I hope these pictures do not offend anyone. You can't see anything personal in these so it shouldn't be offensive. Hope you enjoy the photos! ♥

Well its another Monday and the leaves just keep falling. Akere is totaly surrounded in them at the zoo. My back yard is constantly in need of raking. Where to go with so many leaves.
I am so sorry that I'm not around much. That should change this week. I'm hoping to not be as busy so I can visit you all more. Life can get hectic at times. I have a lot of birthday celebrations this month. Lots of Scorpios in the world especially in my family. Anyway I want to wish you all a very nice Monday (blah...!) and week. These aren't the best pictures because the lighting is terribly low in their enclosure plus the Mother and cubs are behind glass. The cubs are getting so big. Bet they will be as big as their mom when I see them next.
I've had a very busy weekend so far. I hosted a dinner at my home last night and had a great time. Today I'm kind of tired so after I do a few things I plan to put my feet up and just relax. I hope you all have a very relaxing and restful Sunday too. Hugs ♫♪♫ ♥♥

Pallas Cat
The Pallas’ cat is a predator specialized to live in the mountainous regions of central Asia. The preferred prey of the Pallas’ cat is the pika, a small rabbit-like rodent. It also hunts marmots, hares, gerbils, other small mammals, and the occasional bird. While not an adept runner, the Pallas’ cat is an expert ambush predator. Once it spots a prey animal, the cat creeps up slowly, masking its approach by hiding behind whatever vegetative cover is available. A flat forehead and low ears allow the cat to peek over bushes and rocks without exposing much of itself to the unwary prey. At just the right moment, the cat pounces.
The Pallas’ cat is similar in size to a housecat.
A thick coat of shaggy fur and a long, bushy tail help combat extreme temperatures that reach lows nearing -60°F.
Pallas’ cats take shelter in marmot burrows, caves, and rock crevices.

Lifespan: 8 to 10 yrs in wild
Habitat: Mountain regions, including grassland, woodland, and semi-desert

These pictures were taken through wire fencing so they aren't the best. I just love this gorgeous cat. Since the weather has been a little cooler Olga has been kept outside. She has the coolest personality. Anyway I have to get with it and clean my house today. I'll try to catch us with you all later. I'm so sorry that I have been absent so much from Flickr. Thanks everyone for your continued friendship. I really appreciate it so much.
