pounce in the past forever

pounce in the past forever

Arabian Leopard pug marks...
as it seemed from all the marks on the soft sand inside the little cave, the leopard was about to pounce on a bunch of hyraxes (little animals sorta like prairie dogs or marmots)

This was taken in Hawf, a mist forest that is located near the Omani border Southeast Yemen while working in a team to find the illusive animal... I've heard people say that even if you were its next door neighbor for 20 years you would never see it but it would know your every move.

*update
so far, the tracking mission has photo capture 3 individual leopards, you can check them out on this link www.yemenileopard.org/gallery/arabian-leopards-in-yemen.html
