Leap Year Leap in Dublin

Just a few minutes ago I saw about six of these hot air balloons first slowly filling up with hot air and then gracefully flying off into the wild blue yonder. As part of the family-oriented celebration of St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin (yes, already beginning), this beautiful sight was available to Dublin residents who pulled into the Home Depot parking lot to watch these sailors leave the VA Hospital lawn. WOW!!! For a small fee of (gulp) $200 one could get into one of these fine ships and take a little ride. If had the money to spare, I might have paid it. It looked so beautiful from my perspective; I could only wonder what it looked like from theirs. Maybe I’ll start saving my pennies for next year… :-)
