grateful days blend into one

After power outages from Tuesday afternoon through 10pm Wednesday night, our Thanksgiving weekend 2009 started with lunch at our place early on Thursday with beloved Jenna & Steve and just the three of us, before heading to our respective "other family" events. For us, it was dessert and coffee at Ray & Annie's (Richard's father and step mother).

Friday, Richard's delightful brother and sister-in-law, Randy & Helen spent the night. After a fun dinner with just the grown ups (and I use the term loosely), Yusuf returned and Lateefa joined us.

Saturday morning breakfast was quiet and sweet (Richard cooked!), then we celebrated Taqqiya's birthday at the Sea Dog in Bangor.

The last 2 shots are of the post-weekend hideout with Five up in the bedroom. I would like to sleep for a couple of days, now.
