Hyper Racer

Partly inspired by Gladius's little racers, this began as an experiment to use some wild colours.

After nearly scrapping it several times, I went back to basics; the cockpit area was going to be all SNOT but the craft kept falling to pieces as I tried various ideas.

I had also been looking for an excuse to use the new grilled cheese wedges. The new rubber tipped spikes were an after thought to finish the front and rear off, and the brackets on the wings serve as navigation lights and landing gear (the tail tilts downward in landing position so that the cabin stays horizontal).
