All gave some, some gave all.

    Memorial day is not about barbecue. Please take time to remember the heroes who gave their life fighting for freedom and liberty.

      Spent saturday with my scout troop at Maargraten American Cemetery over here in the NL. Placed dutch & American flags infront of each of the 8000 graves to pretty them up for memorial day ceremony.

      Can't help but feel the title reminds me of a Rise Against song though..

      We have something alike here. Except it's not for fallen soldiers; it's for fallen citizens who tried to defend the rights and values of a person.

      Martyrs' day -> Jan 9th.
