RC Delorean time machine

"You've got that thing hooked up to the . . . car?"
2 tonnes of pure stainless steel....or is it 3 tonnes?
The only bit that I think you could do better on it at this scale, still amazing though.
Actually, if I remember correctly from a poster I had as a kid, it is quite light - about 1300 kg...
you win [1,230 kg (2,712 lb)] Not what I meant to say. I was told it weighed 3 or four tonnes, ah well. Next time I'll look it up. 1 bad thing about being full stainless construction, is the fact that the stainless tears. And the delorean in the movie was lucky if it could even get to 66 miles p/h
Oh yes. =)
3 or 4 tonnes ? hey, it's not a truck ^^ btw, the technic thing looks great on the wheels!
RC Delorean time machine by Legohaulic.
It may not be able to travel forward or backwards in time. But it does go 88 miles per decade! :P

I'm going to bet that it does, in fact, have the ability to travel forward in time. Backwards, however, not so much.

Nice work.

I just bought some Power Function today and am looking for all the amazing things that can be done with them. Some of the PF lights would look nice.

^ Yeah...I wish I had some lights. I wanted to use some of my fiber optics to do a flux capacitor but there just wasn't enough room.

Legohaulic  Pro User  says:

Joris: If you want to just order the PF elements themselves, the cheapest thing to do is to get it directly from Lego

In this, I used 2 of the M-Motors, 1 Battery Box, 1 IR receiver, and one IR remote.

That's really all you need to RC something. If you want to attach older motors to the PF stuff, you'll probably need a PF extension wire which has the old and new style connectors.
