Today's suicide jumper was unusual in that he (purposedly?) hit power lines on the
way down.

Per the Times:
"Police were called to the bridge at 11:22 a.m. after someone reported seeing a white haired man, wearing a polar fleece jacket and red plaid pants, standing near the midspan of the bridge, said Seattle police spokesman Sean Whitcomb. When officers got out of their cruiser at 11:27, the man jumped, Whitcomb said."
