Kauai Sunrise. Uprooted trees were lit up by tiki torches nearby.

Clouds in the bright afternoon sky made me decide to use "Da Pig Stopper"!

While surfing this spot I was amazed at the scenery here watching waves peel off the reef creating the water to cascade off the cliff side like waterfalls. There was a turtle that popped its head up in front of me and even a whale breaching out in the near distance! This photo was just a quick documentation of the spot the real beauty is around the corner and the only way to capture it is with a water housing.

My arms are still sore from dragging that log into the shot.

Hiked out to Mahaulepu for a lone sunrise. Yes that dried starfish is a prop. I bought it at the local Walmart for $1.92 along with some of those yummy chocolate covered macadamia nuts! Originally I wanted to have it submerged in the water but the darned thing kept floating to the surface. Later on it really started to smell up the rental car.
