For A Shop Opening

This pearl is on the run it seems.
i adore this
I meant this flower, like a tiare flower :)
For A Shop Opening by kylie lambert (Le Cupcake).
These are basically the same as other ones I have done...but I did these for a new clothing shop opening.
The shop is called "Fillyboo" & has beautiful clothes (maternity as well) & is opening at five ways Paddington tomorrow.

Thanks everyone....
snezhanak the big flower is fabric...I don't use icing ones for the top of the stands as they would break. Plus for the time it takes to make them I'd rather buy them lol..... ( I hate doing big flowers!! So I cheat now.....none of the cupcake places here make theirs anyway...)

Thanks Landa....& Lauren...it took me a minute to see what you meant with the note LOL!....I only noticed a few were "on the run" after I put them in the box......then I forgot to fix them...I think the royal icing didn't set as quickly as usual & a few went walkabout!

It remids me a tiare, gives a really elegant touch, I don't like big flowers myself :) Would prefer witout them, especially if they are plastic, paper might e a better option, but, usually the choice is fresh or nothing :)
do you mean these small tiare flowers can be purchased from somewhere? :)

Thanks everyone :)
Gina2424 they are edible pearls made out of sugar etc. I buy those (too small to make as it would take me forever).
snezhanak I htought you meant the big flower sorry.....these are frangipani flowers & are made out of modelling paste (a fondant with a gum additive) so are completely edible. Some people put real ones on their cakes but I wouldn't recommend it for health reasons.
Frangipanis are hard to make...you can buy them but they are expensive. My wholsaler has them & so do some cake decorating shops...I think one has them at $4.95 per flower??

sneige says:

aw? is it really almost 5 bucks per flower :)
I am wondering how much a cupcake is then :)
Yeah, I suppose it's a bit of keeping you busy to have to do lots and lots of small sugar paste or marzipan paste decorations, especially if you have to add more colors and other things...
thanks for the info! :)
cheers!

LoL .....I don't charge that!! But yeah I can imagine what a cupcake would cost if you had to pay that for each flower....there is alot of work in them though I s'pose...

Let Them Eat Cupcakes (New Zealand) says:

The large fabric flower is a paeony. When I'm not baking cupcakes, I'm a commercial grower of Paeony cut flowers and plants & for anyone who might be interested, Paeony is named after the Greek physician, Paeon, who was the first to use the Paeony tuber as medicine.

Who ate all the cupcakes......I wish you were in Australia as I love paeony flowers!! Those & dog roses!!
tashjeffery I get these pearls from overseas from a supplier....if you need any, I may have enough (I need to order more soon though) or you can try Iced Affair at Camperdown as they have them in small packets.
Just let me know how many you were after...they're not cheap though..they'er around $12 for a 3oz bottle. (I'm getting them in cheaper soon).

Z, I wonder if she meant the chiffon at the bottom (it was on the table) because they would look revolting without the papers..it would be so unfinished & unprofessional. I can't imagine anyone would mean that.....
