Wind-Tossed

This is in part a homage to Miss Aniela's amazing photo and in part a failed attempt to illustrate my poem, Hurricane (which I'll have to re-do when it's actually storming and I have a hot dude on hand to make-out with).

So for now, just a quick photo to say I'M BACK and slowly catching up on work. Not only has my computer been broken for 10 days, but I've also had no phone service at my cottage in Canada. It's been a bit of a shell-shock. But hey, it gave me time to develop a faint sun-tan, so that's good.

My little sister assisted me on this. She's a great assistant and model so I'm always happy when she's helps and I can bypass setting up the tripod. Huza for my new fish-eye lens!

In reply the three people who tagged me, here are 10 things about me you might not know (Didn't want to divulge this info but Severine insisted I do it!)

1. I'm a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde. Thankfully, the majority of people only ever have to experience one side.

2. I'm a music junkie. Always singing it or listening to it. I indulge in a wide variety of genres. Lately it's been Billie Holiday and before that Built to Spill.

3. I once told everyone it was a good idea to stick their heads in the snow and they actually did it. True story.

4. I attempt to be good at as many art forms as I possibly can at once. I studied acting, singing and dancing for the past 14 years of my life and have since picked up web design and now photography. It gets to be a bit of a juggling act trying to keep up all the mediums and art consumes most of my life.

(bored yet?)

5. I have pretty severe sleeping problems, but sleeping pills only seem to get me high. I have frightened my roommate with pill-induced moshing on more than one occasion.

6. I think I feel too hard and I'm pretty reckless with my emotions. I often feel like I'm driving full-speed at a brick wall.

7. I'm obsessive about food. When I like a certain food, I will do anything to get it. Once I walked 3 hours through sea-grass to get a Jos. Louie (Canadian equivalent of wagon wheel). It was so worth it.

8. I like to dress up as characters, not only in my photos, but in real life.

9. I habitually buy myself flowers when I'm drunk.

10. I'm drunk right now.
