{reading list}

one of my favorite books!
{reading list} by Leaca's Philosophy.
Anne Frank Diary
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
The Private Life of Pippa Lee
Alice: Alice Roosevelt
www.amazon.com/Natural-Misunderstood-Presidency-Bill-Clin...

I have not read Anne Frank's Diary yet. My kids read it and cried and I would hand them a tissue and say, "I am never reading that book!" Here I am 39 years old and have never read it. So I decided to read it...even if I end up sobbing like an idiot.

The next two just looked good so I thought I would give them a try.

Alice Roosevelt intrigues me and I really want to know more about her.

The Natural is about Bill Clinton and I thought I would give it a shot. I am not a political buff but it looked interesting.

You will be very glad you read it, even though it's not exactly a happy book. It's one of those things you feel privileged to read.

that looks like a wonderful line-up! I'm trudging through a book right now that I don't love, but I will not give up. I took the recommendation from my hubby and I think from time to time, we differ greatly on what we consider a "good book". Taking suggestions is always chance-y w/ books...

Yes, I agree. I always consider the source.

This is what I have been hearing. I am excited to read it.

Thank you. I will share in this thread as I read them. I am reading Anne Frank first because I think it will be the hardest to read. I thought it would be a good book to read in a month filled with gratitude.

You will get one.

Not dorky. It seems that I sometimes have to read something else and revisit the a book at another time.

I attempted to read Anne Frank several times when I was younger, but I never finished it. I guess I just wasnt old enough to appreciate it yet. I'd totally give it another go now a days (oh and back then I had a really bad habit of reading the back half way through a book, ack)!
