Day 3/366.....Fire, Wood & Stone

great

Jan 3 003/366

Oh my goodness this shot gave me fits! The goal was to catch the texture of the wood, the hardness of the stone, the smoothness of the candle AND the flame, all with available light and NOT overexposing the top of the candle. I really learned something about the relationship between the ISO, aperture and shutter speed tonight!

This shot is SOOC, with only a crop.
