Semuc Champey, Guatemala

After leaving Tikal, we took a 7-hour minibus ride down to Coban, which we used as a home base to explore Semuc Champey. Our day-long Semuc Champey experience consisted of a hike to a cliffside from which we had an unobstructed view (mirador) of the pools, a leisurely swim in the pools, a cave hike, and tubing down the river.
