Stone arch bridge

Stone arch bridge

I find this location–as beautiful as it is–very difficult to photograph. I guess because there are so many different elements within any composition, and the fact that I never seem to be there at just the right time with my camera to make best use of the light. I will however keep going back and trying to capture this magical location at a magical time!

Mill Pond

Mill Pond

Two years ago we woke up to a completely frozen landscape. It didn't last long before the suns rays melted all the ice of the trees and returned it to what can be considered normal at wintertime around these parts. I have so many pictures from that morning and every time I look through that folder I find something new.

Split Rock Lighthouse

Split Rock Lighthouse

The many faces of Split Rock ... Minnesota's most photographed spot!

The other side of Venice

The other side of Venice

I carry all this gear around with me when I travel, but rarely get to use it. This was taken early one morning when i did. It's at the far west end of the island, far away from the tourist areas, but just as beautiful.

Please press L on your keyboard.
