Between 1957 and 1989, this particular bomber served in Washington, South Dakota, Texas, New Hampshire, Guam, Thailand, California, Florida, and Massachusetts, logging over 11,861 flight hours as of 1991.

 

During the Vietnam Conflict, it served 41 months (November 1966 to October 1973) in combat with 175 missions.

 

In 1992, it was dropped from USAF service and declared surplus at March AFB when it developed weakness in the rear fuselage and was assigned to the museum.
