vestige of something good

reminds myself of the time when sport was my life. lately i really miss this unbelievable happiness i felt when i still was a competitive gymnast.

the pose is not photoshopped! (i was lying on a chair i removed later)

also for the twisted-body-series.

    Retired gymnast… you're still maintaining good flexibility. ;- ]
The stripes on the sweater make the shot more effective. Love your twisted bodyscape series… a little creepy, but intriguing.

I always wanted to be a gymnast, I think it's so amazing how the body can do such things - I can't even touch my toes! Really like the photograph and the bow shape is wonderful

i like this photograph. and i'm trying to pinpoint what exactly it is.. i think it's the pose and it's clarity. i've gotten really into fitness and this kind of just reminds me of yoga. weird, i know.

Very cool! The pose is so striking, it really draws you in. I was a gymnast when I was VERY young, but I never enjoyed the competition side of it, so I didn't stay in for too long. But I sure did love all the cool things you got to learn to do with your body!

Laura - what is this background? I see it in a lot of your shots; looks like a solid wall that has been custom painted?

I would like to know where I could get this sweater. Do you mind telling me?

    it's H&M :)
it is a wall. the material of the surface is called Pandomo (normally used as a floor).
