my flowers still bloom, yet the leaves turn colors and flutter to the ground. I think I made my last pesto of the season yesterday. It all went by in a flash.

I'm sitting here watching the 9/11 memorial on TV. That was not my plan today, but I cannot tare myself away.

I was back in the US for only a year and was at work when we heard about the planes hitting the World Trade Center. Everyone thought that it was a mistake...this couldn't be. But it was...

I was going to talk about how I felt...but that was insignificant. I am sitting here watching relatives of the victims read off the names of those who were killed in the attack. It strikes me that for the most part, the people who died were a young population in their prime. I could only think how their families and friends must miss them. My love and warm wishes goes out to all that were affected.

often, I second guess my decisions. I know it's cliche, but life always seems like it would be better if .....

This motorcycle was a huge and special part of our lives. It's fitting that we have many photos with the bike. But the most special part is my baby is 14 years old today. He won't let me take photos right now...so a baby picture goes up.
