I remember the days when the L train was forlorn, and you could almost always get a seat at 6th Ave in the front cars, and even at Union Square if you were wiling to ride farther back.

I rode that thing every day for something like 15 years and never saw that station that crowded. Here in Seattle, I get to experience that kind of crowding in my car. I think I'd prefer the L train.
