    Thanks for the video Scott. Wish I could have seen it in person. A high school friend Randy Bresnik was riding that thing, and is scheduled for 2 EVAs later in the week. Go Randy, go!

    No one ever believes me when I tell them that watching a Shuttle launch in person at Kennedy Space Center is a full-body experience... but it really and truly is exhilarating. When you hear the sound saturate the mic in this video, imagine feeling that sound just as much as you hear it.

    Great video. So sad that there are only a few of these launches left to experience before the Shuttle is slated to be retired.
