Giant Cacti on Incahuasi Island - Uyuni Salt Flats - Bolivia

Incahuasi Island is in the middle of the Uyuni Salt Flats (Salar de Uyuni) in Bolivia. It seems to rise up out of nowhere and is covered with gigantic cacti. It is estimated that they grow at around 1cm/year on average; the tallest specimen on the island is over 12m tall over 36 feet!!!

The circumference of Incahuasi Island is approximately three miles (4.8 km). Incahuasi Island is actually the top of ancient volcano. On this island, there are archeological sites that remain from the Tiwanaku and Inca cultures along with 30 caves and 12 natural tunnels.

Foggy Again - Royal Victoria Dock Bridge

Foggy Again - Royal Victoria Dock Bridge

The Royal Victoria Dock Bridge is a signature high-level footbridge crossing the Royal Victoria Dock in the Docklands area of east London designed by London-based architects and designers Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands. The bridge provides a direct link from Eastern Quay and Britannia Village, a residential development to the south of the dock, to the ExCeL Exhibition Centre and Custom House station, both situated to the north of the dock. The bridge was completed in 1998, at a cost of £5 million.
