Lash in Virginia's photostream  

We were at a restaurant, Zaytinya, in Washington, DC. It is on 9th Street NW, a half block from the National Portrait Gallery. The restaurant has first rate mezze, mostly Lebanese. The light in the interior was wonderful, so I tried to capture some of It.

I took this with my iPhone, Hipstamatic app, John S lens with Blanko Noir film. The only processing on my iPad was to add a bit of contrast by writing a gentle curve in the L channel of LAB mode in PhotoForge2.

While walking up 17th Street toward my daughters office, I noticed the reflection of two buildings in the glass wall of another building. The uneven shimmer is a nice effect.

Shortly after the snow fell, I walked to get the car and looked down to see the pattern of yellow paint on asphalt.

Short before I took "Under my feet," I took this one. The detail that I like the most is the lamppost.

While walking down a street from a tea shop, I took a photo of the sky, and then when I lowered the camera, I accidentally framed this view of the sidewalk. I was pleased with my accident, so I adjusted the frame and pressed the shutter button.

This image was taken with my iPhone using the Cameramatic app, and then processed on my iPad using PhotoForge2 (a curve in the L channel of LAB mode) and Iris Photo Suite (a vignette).
