Sometimes it is the gravestones, but sometimes it simply is a small detail, a small patch of color between the grey and black. With the late afternoon light falling through various cracks and holes in the surroundings, one tends to end up with a network of illuminated spots on the ground, which then pick up whatever happens to be there.

Ferry connecting the two villages Baarlo and Steyl on eather side of the river Maas. The ferry is being propelled via a chain running along the bottom of the river, thereby resulting in a very characteristic sound when moving from one side of the stream to the other.
