Gate and Wind Turbine © Larry FrankHappened by in a car (as a passenger) at a red light. Saw a possible symmetrical composition. Waited for the turbine to be at the right position - thankfully it was a long red light. It happened too fast to grab my DSLR with a super-wide lens. Shot it with my Fuji S200 and took two shots to get the entire image and spliced them together in Photoshop. Colours were sweetened in Apple Aperture.

Uploaded on Nov 5, 2009 The Prayer V2 © Larry FrankFrom "The Other Side of Light" collection. Using Apple's Aperture Highlight and Shadow control and monochrome mixer - exporting to Photoshop using surface blur and curves control. I also added, to add to the symmetry, an oval selection with a 22 pixel feather to create a vignette which compliments the hands. To me, symmetry and balance is everything.
