At first I thought you were asking if it was worth it to build all that stuff on those tiny rock islands. Really peculiar looking. Love the light hitting the tops and sides of various items. The golden building sides in the lower right, reflecting on the water, make a great focus point. Well seen. I like it.

I got several shots and have done miniatures of a couple of them, one of which will no doubt be uploaded tomorrow! Nobody witnessed the fall - it was a pretty inaccessible place today and I was alone!! I've never done a winter shot from here before and now I know why!!
Built on three islands! I live on that low green bit back right....but you don't know your right from left ;-)

As far as I am concerned well worth it. Geography, and geology, have always been important to me, so I know an awful lot of names, and can probably pinpoint them on the map. However, it is only through photographs such as yours that I get to know what these places I have known actually look like. I guess that climate change and a higher sea level could be not the best of ideas here. Thank you for sharing.

stunning shot! yes, definitely worth it. I think I may have given myself pneumonia today - out in 20F degree weather taking sprinkler shots (creating ice on grass). I didn't realize it but the sprinkler was partially sprinkling my pants! I became very cold, very quickly. What we do for our shots!

This town is called Aalesund and is located in the midwest Norway. My auntie lives there actually, lol. Kristiansund, another town about 3 hrs away from Aalesund has a pretty similiar geography.
