So you're reading a book or watching tv, talking on the phone or writing an email, relaxing in the sun or eating a sandwich or ... whatever. Suddenly he's there; an annoying fly who keeps bothering you. Constantly that little black moving spot in front of your eyes trying to land somewhere on you or your food. You try to ignore him, but you know you can't. At first you hope a single wave of the hand is enough to get rid of him, but it just always seems to end up in a full fledged fly hunt with the ultimate goal of killing that annoying insect. Familiair right?
But what would it be like for the fly? Driven by instincts I guess, he has no choice but to fly around a bit. And apparently he's bothering those tall two-legged creatures in the process. But he can't help it that they don't like him. So maybe he sometimes buzzes a little prayer. To not always be disliked, shouted at and hunted down. So he can live a life in peace, 'cause it's already a short life as it is for him.
Did I happen to catch one saying his prayer? Who knows ...
