      Friend of mine @ Bestbuy has seen a 95% return on those Laptops because of issues with the system or hinge.
      Bestbuy will fix it if it is under the buyer protection warranty, but if not you will have to pay a lot of money to get it fixed, even under Apples MF Warranty. I have since returned my Air and I'm happy with my new xp sp3 laptop.

      Sorry to see it happen.

      This happened to mine, but Apple is fixing it under warranty. Looked exactly the same.

      Happened to me...and I had no warrenty!

      But they still fixed it (better actually, they went ahead and replaced the entire screen!)
