      christellefv, and everybody else for that matter, just come again, best time is from january-march each year and plan at least a week trip, preferrably two, then you should be very unlucky not to see some if you are really dedicated and go out searching.

      Thx, but no offense Fish as art, surely you are kidding? I wouldn´t call Yellowknife the aurora capital of the world, we are a bit further up north than you guys and frankly I have never even heard of the place before I visited your profile. I would say that Iceland is pretty much perfect for people who want to photograph the northern lights because of the diversity of the landscape that makes up the foreground, and accessibility to those places, and I´d much rather travel up to northern Norway/Sweden/Finland to see the borealis if I was to go anywhere. I am sure northern Canada is nice, don´t get me wrong :)
