I love your wide and creative imagination to create something different in all photos. I don't have any idea about drawing pattern at background and you did as well as using different color of BG in one image. Great Laksmi!

Beautiful! I love the yellow everywhere, it complements the lemonade so well and gives the whole image a feeling of warmth :) And that background is perfect!

I like the colour and freshness and the layout of this photo but I think I would have left out the two bowls and the lemon on the upper left.

You have a great sense of color and arrangement, your images are well balanced in those respects.

I'm glad you like this one! It's a fun image, I think. Thanks for commenting.

The setting is same as the previous one (cupcakes): the floor, the wall, the table and even the bowl. I added a shelf. Repainting took a couple of minutes. You can probably tell by the way the table looks :-). It was a blast.

By the way, Cintamani, the table used to be a chair. At one point, the seat part transformed into a cutting-board (see the goutweed image). After a little bit of hammering and sawing the leg part became a solid base for a small table. It serves well when eating on the floor.

I see your point and agree it would work without the bowls. However, the bowls add a sense of moment or a casual touch by increasing the motion of the composition, in my opinion.

Interesting comment, Sylvie! It makes me curious in what respects you find the images unbalanced ? It would be good to hear. I'm serious. Would you have the honors, please :-)?

beautiful! What is that in the background? Did you paint it for those Indian designs?

Love the yellow color play. I wish I have creative backdrops like this to shoot against!

for me it's a bit difficult to use yellow in my shots but you did it perfect!
love the small yellow table, the pieces of lemon playing in the glasses and the greens in the bottle

My observation: yellows work better if you don't use backlight. As a matter of fact, all colors do. With backlight they have to be really strong and the light moderate and sieved.

On my expierence yellow is the first color on which you see that you over expousured your photo. The hardest color to work with, at least for me.

And I discovered something. There is no lemoniade on this photo;-)) Am I right? Bottle is empty?

    18. Laksmi W 23 months ago | reply

Hah.hah...there is water in the bottle! It's not empty. It looks like though :-)

There are so many elements in your photographs to mesmerize me Laksmi! I don't understand where to start looking! The table, the board behind, that bottle, the lemons, the bowls, the glasses! Each element is beautiful and tells a tale, making one wonder.
