Lovrien, age 35, a 10 year veteran of the Los Angeles Fire Department assigned to LAFD Station 95, died at an area hospital following an explosion that also injured a colleague in the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles, California on March 26, 2008. Although I hadn't seen you in many years, I still remember you as a young boy, energetic, smart, sensitive and extremely caring...You proudly followed in your uncle Gary's and Grandpa's footsteps, by becoming a firefighter. You've devoted your life to the safety and well being of others... truly one of our Hero's!! It's been a long time since your uncle Gary, Shenan, Pops and I all went fishing together up in Green Valley. My memories of you, as a young curious boy, watching Pops sewing his boat covers in the garage @ 8020 Vista Del Rosa in Downey. I was in the area when this was going on. I watch the helicopters landing in the street not knowing the reasons why. I have been in the area all of my life. Attended Westchester High and working on the sepulveda block for over 10 years. Working in the medical field calling on the fire dept many times for assistance. Once for one of my own employees. Always there in less than 5 min.

Much condolences to the family. I lost my mother one year ago Tuesday. It is not easy. Sitting here watching the funeral now.

Much love to all that put their lives in danger.

Spread love not hate everyone. Life is too short.
