mother-in-law-effect

mother-in-law-effect by labsji.
We need more wemen in unconferences( Do we? I mean should we care to count when we say it is open to all). In Veena's presentation on 'Blogging for Indian Politics' there was an undercurrent of agression- may be it is the topic.

In an unconference presentation, whatever they say, however they say must be used to advance a discussion. A little warmth will go a long way in encouraging more people to participate. MHO anyway. I'll be happy to to stand corrected.

Maybe it's just easier to women because they are more open to criticism?
