Not easy to spot are they?

That's exactly the intention, though. This is just the way people built houses in the old (you know, the old) days... What to do when timber only grew below a few hundred meter above sea level, and this particular cluster of houses is situated at around 700m asl...

Oh, and its a 9 hour walk to get here, highest point to cross is at roughly 1250m (4100ft).

Oh, and they had some twenty cows along with them as well. And some goats.

Oh, and did I mention this was the old days? No Gore-tex, hiking boots, camelback, gps or cell phones.

They did have the time to do it, though...
