    Probably, but the video quality of Hi8 is not the best quality video in the world as it is. Go for MiniDV, or better yet HDV. MiniDV or DVC-CAM is not as expensive as it used to be.

    what i meant was transfer this original to 1 hour XP dvds
    the uploads would be much more stable than from a VHS dub
    right ?
