First Flowers

This photo marks a new thing for me. Scanning my own film negatives. I bought a Canon 8800F and finally had time to try it out this evening. This is from the first set of scans that I did. I need to get back to it, but I wanted to share. I have so much to learn about using film cameras and the quirks of each one, picking film (too many choices!) and finally scanning and editing, but right now I'm looking forward to the lessons.

By the way this isn't one of those artsy stick the camera under small flowers. These bushes actually were taller than me and a lovely little discovery.
