A MEDITATION ABOUT MOURNING
Well, this is kind of a contrast-programm this week, I know. But I think thats what makes flickr interesting. This image is in no case familiar with the one of yesterday from a compositional standpoint. The only thing about this and yesterdays shot is : They are both meditations of something. And todays is about :
Mourning. Yesterdays post was something that I really like. Peace. But thats only one part in life, the one we all want to have. One other part is mourning. We loose someone, we feel dishonored, rejected, may be we do not get as much comments on an image as we thought it would get ;). But it is a real part in our life we cannot undermine. This image is totally about this state of mind, about this feeling and it tries to emphasize it through a multiplicity selfportrait of me. If you want to ask where the grain comes from : It is not from postprocessing, it is a shot with ISO 3200. As always I am interested in your thoughts, ideas, reactions ;) CommentsKerstin - bauvana - says:Wow!
PCPhotography says:Great image. I like the way the figures
contrast the arches accross from them, it
conveys your intention, I believe.
