Coffee

Story Of The Image: As I was inspired by this photograph I thought I could do it the "kwerfeldein way" and see what happens. I am not the usual still photographer but somethings have to be photographed. And coffee is one of that. Additional to that I think this season is perfect for it. Sitting in your warm flat talking to each other while drinking coffee.

Setup was one Softbox from the left and a reflector on the right.

By the way: As I changed my eating habits due to overweight 9 Months ago I stopped drinking coffee cause I could embrace it without lots of sugar.

What do you think about the image? Do you think I "made it"? What would you have done different?

Was flipping through your shots and saw this one again and had to come back and tell you how much I really like this one. It is so nice and warm and COFFEE-ish. I really want to be sitting down at that table staring at that coffee right now. I think I have a coffee fetish.

It's not so much the drinking it or the tasting of it, as the ambiance and the warmth, and the person you drink it with, and the table you sit, at the napkins you use, and maybe the biscotti you had with it, or not, and everything else. And this photo captures all that. It's not just a coffee, it's the CULTURE of coffee. :)

Great work. Looks simple and minimalist but I know from experience getting this kind of shot nailed is _not_ easy. Well done!

Great - Simplistically Beautiful - a great example of showing your exceptional natural ability to see things with your minds eyes and capture it with your camera.

In my humble opinion, try to rotate counter clockwise 45 degree the cup handle.

This is amazing, the texture on the table is the kicker here, i dont think it would have been the same if the lines looked different
