Story Of The Image : What did you do on 1st May ? I met my friend Johannes and after having some nice lunch we went out for some shots - and well we had pretty perfect weather. And a lot of fun ;) What you cannot see in this shot is that the wind was blowing quite fast and my softbox turned arround nearly every 5 seconds...

@Floating Imitations: from the softbox i think, because the clouds are darker on the other side... so the sun comes from the left, this is why the right side of the clouds are darker and the left is brighter. and his shadow is on the right side...
another thing is that the sun would give a stronger shadow, not that "soft".

Awesome portrait. Brilliant job on the lighting, though the cloud near his head seems a bit dark? Perhaps a little distracting for me, but overall I really like it.

Great job on the podcast by the way. It was fantastic being able to hear your thoughts on photography in general and get a bit more of an understanding where you're heading with your work. I look forward to more.

Nice Cirrus and Cumulus cloud formations.
Pretty odd for a windy day. Windy days are normally Cumulus or Altocumulus or Cirrostratus prone...
Yours are the best post-produced pictures I have ever seen. You make it seem natural and not forced at all.
