Setting Moon over the Panamint Range

Setting Moon over the Panamint Range

The nearly full moon sets behind the Panamint Range in this view from Dante's View in Death Valley National Park. Note the swirls of exposed rock, twisted by countless years into a swirl of different tones. Natural vignetting by my 100-400mm lens wide open.

Encircling Walls

White Sand Pinnacle

White Sand Pinnacle
